For over a decade, we have been organizing summer camps where children not only learn English but also build a community. Year after year, they reunite with their friends at GOLA.
The camp themes are designed so that children continue to acquire the language naturally and immersively while enjoying outdoor activities programmed and created for this purpose.
During this summer time, we make the most of pet care and gardening, in addition to continuing with typical Gola activities such as storytelling, crafts, karaoke, STEM, cooking, and games. Although intensive in terms of linguistic production, the more relaxed atmosphere of the camps also favors the use and production of the language in a more free way.
On Thursdays, weather permitting, we organize water games by creating different stations so that the kids can have a great time while being safe. The children must bring a swimsuit, towel, and closed water sandals.
On Fridays, we have cinema with popcorn and we have incorporated our zumba class to say goodbye to the week.
The camps are from Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 14:00, although the center opens its doors from 8:00 to 15:00 to help families with childcare. We do not provide lunch service, children can bring their own breakfast and/or lunch if they have an extended schedule.
It is important to bring a mid-morning snack, comfortable clothes and shoes, a hat, and sunscreen.
